Soup days

Every Thursday from January through March, soup day is happening at Bethel. What began as an outreach to our shut-ins some twenty years ago, today the soup day serves 550+ lunches each week that it's open. Many confuse us with a soup kitchen for the hungry, but the Soup Thursdays are open to all-comers and it has become an event for Rock Hill locals, including the Mayor, to come and spend the lunch hour in good company.

Donations from lunch-goers provide for our mission teams and other needs, so please consider dining-in sometime. The Bethel soup committee chaired by Mrs. Ruth Culp coordinates dozens of volunteers in the laborious task of preparing for and cleaning up after the crowd every Thursday. We ALWAYS need more hands!
